Just finished.. I love that these could be read as stand alone's, but you miss so much.. Like the attraction and history between these two characters.. You would have had to read the 1st one to understand about Julian and Palomar.. so worth the reading to.. each story just builds gracefully into the next..

I've been waiting for Isabel and Trevor's story since book 1. It did not disappoint...and it got me looking forward to two more stories.

I've been recommending the Midnight series to anyone with ears to hear or eyes to read. It really is great. The writing is fantastic. The action is fast and furious. And the love stories are hot. If I have a complaint, it's only that I have to wait so long for the next book release.
The is a great series. I absolutely love this one. The character development is great and has me itching for the next book in this series!! I highly recommend!
Of the three books in this series, I have to say this is the best one so far. I completely immersed myself into the book and couldn't put it down until I finished reading it. It was full of action, suspense, romance, playfulness, and intrigue. While all three books were great, this one had the right amount of balance without being too romantic or too suspenseful which didn't infuriate me as the other two did because I was like "come on just get over it". I just love it when I can identify with a heroine and picture myself in her shoes. Definitely recommend reading it, and the best thing is you don't have to read the first two books to follow along. Looking forward to the next book, Midnight Pursuits!
The third book deal with Isabella and Trevor and their struggles to get past their issues. The Plot deals with an attack on Jim Morgan's compound which kills a few supporting characters and leaves the team in disarray. Trevor and the rest are forced to ask for Noelle's help with Jim missing. This is where we get a few hints on the animosity between Jim and Noelle. And like all of her book we get a new Chameleon who you know will have her own story. I won't go into to much of the story because there is a major surprise that is well kept by the author.

My only problem is Kane and Abby aren't in much of the story.
I absolutely loved getting Trevor and Isabel's story after reading about their connections in both of the first two books. It was worth the wait. Trevor was determined and knew exactly what he wanted. Nothing Isabel said or did was going to change his mind. He wanted her. Isabel believed herself to be a death sentence to everyone she cared about and shoulders a huge weight of guilt and fear. She did everything she could to avoid Trevor and the future he wanted with her. When Morgan's team literally comes under attack, Isabel is drawn into the search to discover why and ensure justice is served. Sparks fly between the couple, and Trevor goes caveman overprotective even though he knows Isabel can handle herself. The two struggle to trust each other and destroy the threat that would try to destroy them first. This was a great addition to the series.
