I already had all the individual books in the series in paperback, but I left them in my parents house, and I like having old favorites around for nostalgia reading, and an ebook just isn't the same for flipping through at random. This omnibus edition is great because it all four books but takes up the space for only one on my (extremely) limited shelf space.

I'm not going to review the series itself because if you are looking at omnibus editions, you already know how wonderful an author Tamora Pierce is, and how great her worldbuilding is. If you are here to buy for a gift, I assure you that if your recipient likes kick-ass girl heroes, who are human and relatable enough that they make mistakes (I hate a perfect hero) but who work to fix things (and do), the Tortall is for you! (I also recommend Song of the Lioness and Protector of the Small: First Test / Page / Squire / Lady Knight, which are part of the larger world of Tortall)

I got this book "used" from the Shared Knowledge Literacy Foundation (used is practically the only way to get these special edition omnibuses) for an absolutely incredible price and stellar service.

I love all the book she has written that take place in Tortall, I have been reading (and re-reading) various books she has written since I was in my preteen years and I still read them (I'm 27 now
I love this author and what a treat to find one whole series in one book! I would definitely recommend. I know this is considered a Young Adult author; but I'm 65 and enjoy all of her books very much.

This is a wonderful collection of The Immortals, a 4 book series by Tamora Pierce. I am proud to have this book displayed on my shelf and love reading it again and again. The binding is also really strong and holds together well.
This series is the first one I read by Tamora Pierce and it drew me in from the first page. The characters make you fall in love as you follow Diane on her journey to finding family after loss and learning how to manage powers she doesn't truly understand. I was so happy to find all four books in one binding, as it makes it easier to reread all of the stories when you're on the go.
I really enjoy reading this series over again. In case anyone does not realize it, this is all four books together in one volume. I've seen reviews for these editions where people are all upset about how they thought it was the next book in the series. Just use common sense please. As a book collector, this edition was a must for me.

I was happy to find that all four books had been turned into one, and decided that I needed it right then. Buying new was expensive, so I decided to look at some of the used offers. I found this one, well priced and in almost like new condition. Happy with this book!
